Tuberose in Blue | ALTAIA

In Jazz, a blue note is used for expressive purposes, played at a slightly different pitch from the standard. The tuberose here is used in a way that is very different from other "standard" fragrances, with so much emotion, it stirs feelings deep within.

The perfume opens on the fresh innocence of freesia petals, the powderyness of heliotrope, and the honeyed sweetness of neroli. But that feminine ideal does not continue to fool anyone for long. Letting go of their demure appearances, the flowers toss off their inhibitions and reveal the decadent side of themselves. The narcotic sensuality of tuberose surges forth, uncontrollable and haunting. Notes of cedar and sandalwood open up and try to assert their dominant character in order to contain the outpouring of opulence, but they never succeed in taming it completely.

Top Notes: Mandarin, Neroli
Heart Notes: Tuberose, Freesia, Heliotrope
Base Notes: Cedar Wood, Sandalwood
