Gin Fizz

In the 1950's France was under the spell of America. They played jazz and the kids were dancing to Bebop before discovering Rock'n'Roll. But the biggest fascination was with Hollywood. Gin Fizz was invented in homage to the talented and beautiful American actress who became a reigning queen in Europe. Henri Giboulet created a very chic perfume - sparkling and fresh - evoking the cocktail that was in fashion that year in the American-style bars of Paris.
